Default Help to identify 3d card

Hi all I have myself an AGP 3d card that I need drivers for for win 98 but I
cant find the name on the card for searching on driverguide.com. as they
need brand names to search for.

What is on the card is this -

Geforce 2 (on pcb)
Geforce 2MX (sticker)
On the chips are the name "Samsung 052 - K4S643232C-TC60" there are 4 of
these

Im guesing its a Geforce 2MX but who makes these? Is it Nvidia or ATI?

Thanks heaps
GK

Geforce is Nvidia.

Last Win98 driver is 81.98 AFAIK.

ftp://download.nvidia.com/Windows/81.98
ftp://download.nvidia.com/Windows/81...9x_english.exe

Release notes are here. PDF page 51 has a list of cards. Your card
(Geforce2 MX) is at the bottom of the list.

ftp://download.nvidia.com/Windows/81...ease_Notes.pdf

If the release notes are wrong, and the drivers won't take, simply
browse the download.nvidia.com/Windows directories, until you find
something you like.

Try downloading & running Belarc Advisor, a free utility (find under
"download.com"). It should show your video adapter, as well as other stuff
even you and the builder were unaware of. HTH, s
