Default Good noiseless cooler?

Can anyone recommend a good noiseless CPU cooler. I have an Intel Core
2 Duo running at 1.86Ghz.

Also who makes a good 8cm case fan?

Thanks a lot!

I found this one:

http://www.quietpc.com/gb-en-gbp/pro...oling/cnps7500

Any idea how good a B-Grade cooler would be? It does seem a lot
cheaper.

(£15.40 rather than £23.99)

Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme Aluminum Heatsink might do the trick.

Cool. Doesn't have to be totally fan free, just quiet. Does anyone
know what socket no. my processor is? : /

Nevermind. It's a 775, I found out. Sorry about the pointless question.

Between the 2 choices I would pick the Thermalright.
I ran one of their older models with a 120mm Fan and not only did it cool
effiecntly but with the proper fan it was quiet.
You add an 120mm fan of your choice with low noise level and a high airflow
and you'll be grinning from ear to ear

I'm running Scythe Ninja's on two of my systems, I'm really happy with them.
I do see though that the Ninja has been ousted from the top spot by the
Thermalright Ultra-120 (another poster recommended this).
Did you ever check out http://www.silentpcreview.com/article30-page1.html

Ok but will it fit my case? See the PSU is very close to the
motherboard, there's nothing in it. Or do these fans fit every ATX
case?

Yeah I have looked at a few tower-block fanless coolers, but they
scare me due to their size. I am clumsy when not paying attention, and
I might knock the cooler one day while my case is open. Or it might
not fit?

Surprisingly cool, actually.

You can add a fan to that one (or better yet, a fan and vent it to an
external vent, if you want to go hard-core)
