Default Favorite (or otherwise) DVD burners SATA and PATA

I am putting together a new workstation; it will only be used for
graphics, so the desired qualities of the burner are reliability in
writing and reading. Speed is secondary. I would prefer a SATA drive
only because I may not choose a motherboard with an ATA connector.

Thanks.

I agree, I used to use pioneer drives IDE, Plextor on scsi interface but my
20X SATA Samsung has been my best drive to date so these 22X ones whould be
similar.
