Default Dual DVI vs. 2 DVI Ports

Is there a difference from Dual DVI capability needed to run some of
the newer 30" moniotors and a video card with 2 DVI connections on
it. Or are they one in the same?

No, the Dual DVI the big monitors refering to is DualLink DVI

Usually on a 2 DVI connector gfx card , only one is DualLink????
