Default Cost to Build

Hey Everyone,

I am planning to build a computer in the next 6 weeks. I'm not a total
n00b when it comes to building or parts, but I need some advice. I
plan to build with AMD Athlon 64x2, 1Gb of RAM, 256MB NVIDIA GeForce
8000 series GPU, 200 GB HDD, DVD/CD/RW drive, case with a clear side,
LED fans and such, and possibly liquid cooling. How much will a rig
like this cost?

$1500.00-$2000.00?BTW, if you are going to get a DX10 capable video card it
makes more sense to get one with more than 256MB ram. Even 320 probably
isn't going to be enough..

Create a parts list and get the prices from www.newegg.com. For each part
you select you should be able to get some user comments on the part. It
could be very helpful. For my pc I put the parts with prices in an Excel
spread sheet and had an exact total. Then I just went down the spreadsheet
when ordering. Quick and easy.
