Can anyone tell me where I can find a unit that has a usb female
connection on one side and then splits into 2x PS/2 male connectors? I
have a wireless keyboard and mouse that I want to use with my PS/2
4-port KVM. The wireless receiver only has the one (male) usb connection
so I can only use a usb to PS/2 adapter for either the keyboard OR the
mouse with the KVM: I want to use both!
There are plenty of PS/2 female to USB male connectors out there for use
in connecting two PS/2 devices to a PC with only usb ports. I need the
opposite: a device that will connect one usb device to two PS/2 ports. :-/
Can anyone point me to where I can order one of these, assuming they
even exist? I'd prefer to order from within Australia if possible.
Cheers,
Ari

Careful... KVMs are very picky devices. If you use a PS/2 KVM, be happy if
you can get it to work with native PS/2 devices. Trying to get it to work
with USB equipment? With a Y adapter thrown in the mix? I'd say your odds
of success are less than 1 in 1000, even if you find the right
dapter. -Dave

I have no trouble getting it to work with a wired usb mouse and wired
usb keyboard, however, the usb wireless keyboard+mouse combo that was
given to me new is much nicer and with all the other wires I have strung
about my desk, the wireless is a nice option.
