Default Capable but command failed - how do I turn off smart monitoring?

I have swapped a Controller board from a bad hard drive to another
one, same serial, same firmware etc, but I am getting a CAPABLE BUT
COMMAND FAILED error. I don't know how to turn off the SMART command
in the bios to try and see if this helps. Where is the command for
this in the bios, I couldn't find it under ADVANCED...
I am using an ASUS P5P800SE mobo.

Thanks

On the main BIOS page, there is room to list six disks. Your disk
will be listed there. You should be able to select the disk in
question from that page, and then a submenu will appear. Section
4.3.5 in the manual, describes the resulting page.
"SMART Monitoring" [Disabled] might work from that page.

Thanks for that, unfortunately, it didn't fix the problem drive.
