Quite. It only takes one situation where you could use a floppy to
make the zero cost worthwhile. (Old pcs all have free fdds.) And flops
are still useful for setting up w98 dual boot and transferring with
the occasional dino that doesnt do usb.
Floppy media may be unreliable long term, but so are CDs. With flops
its easy to detect errors, CDs less so.
