I have both.
Are you talking about the case or power supply or ???

I'm trying to get some advise about cases -
Looking at the Antec P182 or P190 versus
Coolermaster's Cosmos 1000, Stacker 832 or even the
CM690 ATX Mid-tower
Currently have a Wavemaster and the design is outdated with
only three 80mm fans. Case looks nice but is dysfunctional and
would not think of putting a Core2 Duo or Quad in it.
Thanks for the reply -

I have not had any problem with Antec cases, power supplies, or fans.
I have a NeoPower 480wP/S--nice but a little pricey. All I know about
Coolermaster is that it is popular.

Though Antec has a good reputation...the last two powersupplies that died on
me were Antec's.
One was still under warranty, so they replaced it.
Next time I buy a supply I'm going to try another brand...maybe
Coolermaster???
It's nice because of the 120 mm fan mounted with silicone and it is
really quiet. Has a 3 speed switch on it; I run it at 2 and it's very
quiet. Great hard drive mounts with rubber grommets where the drive
mounts. I threw out the air duct thing. Better airflow without it.
There's a mount for another 120 mm fan on the drive bay, which really
helps keep the drives cool, as well as adding to overall cooling (the
fan is not supplied. I added it and mounted it with the silicone mounts
that are provided)
It also has a 450 watt Antec PSU that runs a P5B-Plus with a E6600
running at 3 GHz, with 4 sticks of Corsair 1GB memory, 3 hard drives and
a DVD burner. My UPS shows that the system draws about 250 watts max
with full load on the CPU.
There are many other Antec cases available; check out the list at
Newegg.

A statistician would have a real job with finding out why some people
never have a problem with Brand X, but then others have nothing but
problems with Brand X.
As I mentioned, I've built 5 computers over the last 10 years and all
have Antec cases and power supplies, with no trouble at all with any of
them. All 5 are still working fine (well, the latest one better be
working fine, since it's only 5 months old). ;-)

A good start, would be to stay away from the entries in the "Tier 5"
section, listed here. The gradations into the other Tiers, is a distraction.

I have a Antec P-180 and a Sonota III - both very good. The P180 doesn't
come with a power supply, so you'll have your options open there. Make
sure that you get one with long cables, as the power supply in the P180
mounts from the bottom and is isolated from the rest of the case. I went
with the Corsair HX620 and it works very well (3 12V rails @ 18A per,
total rating 50A). Routing the cables takes some time and patience, but
the end result is worth the effort. The fan filters are very effective.
The case cooling is effective. I have no complaints with it at all. I
have no experience with Coolermaster, so can't offer a comparison.
