AM2 fan

Can someone tell me if I need a new fan. The current fan is for Socket
A
but I have seen one on ebay AMD 754, 939, 940 AM2 Heatsink+Fan
seems the same fan fits all.

1st of all we dont know if you need a NEW fan...we are not at your house
looking and listening to your system.Only you can determine that.
We can tell you that if you have a Socket A..also known as Socket 462 and
the specs of the fan you mention does NOT state that socket.
