Very Annoyed that I can't find this info easily on the acronis website.
If anyone has this software, I'd like to know what the deal is with
installing the software on more than one computer. Truthfully, I want to
install it on 2 PCs and one laptop.
What is the activation/registration process like?
A link to read the license would be even better.

Its one licence per PC unless you buy a volume key.

It is supposed to be for one machine only. There is no activation
scheme, at least that I've noticed. Hint: I've instaled it several
times due to an inability to choose between xp and vista, among other
things.

Acronis actually phoned me once and asked if I wanted to buy a multi-user
license instead of the one PC license I had. Made my paranoia meter rise
for a moment as I thought maybe the software was phoning home so they knew
I had it on more than one PC. Ran a port scanner and it doesn't phone home
so paranoia meter dropped back down to normal levels.

Not sure, but doesn't matter if all PC are access able thru a network.
Once you install it one PC, create a bootable CD with it.Then you can boot any pc
and do a backup or restore to from a pc over the network.
Also if any of your PC's have a Segate or Maxtor drive drive you can you their dsic wizard software
(which is Acronis) for free.
Good luck.
