Default PC Chips Mother Board w/AMD Duron won't boot

My Gigabyte GA-7VTXE died. I bought a PC Chips M848A as a replacement.
I installed it with my AMD Duron 1.2gig processor.

Had a heck of a time getting it to recognize my drives. But now it
won't boot up. I can't even get my DVD to boot so I can load the MB
drivers.

Any ideas whats wrong?
