Default Is this motherboard or power supply failure?

Hello,

I built a computer a couple months back and all worked as so post to.
Last night I synced my iPod Shuffle to my iTunes and then unplugged it
after ejecting. The computer died. All power to everything stopped.
I attempted to turn it back on. The machine will power up but I am
getting nothing on my monitor. I wish the computer was giving me
something so I could give you the specs and the exact hardware i'm
running. If anyone can give me even a little help it would be
appreciated.

Computer brand and model number ? (I.e. Dell Dimension 4550)

If you built it yourself, motherboard brand and model number (I.e. Asus P4P800 SE)

It sounds like a latchup failure of an ICH5 (bad motherboard), but it
is more fun guessing when you give at least some info. If you built
the computer yourself, then you know how to take the side off and
look. If you bought the computer pre-built, then check the involce
for make and model number details. There may even be a label on it
somewhere, with a serial number and a model number. Do you still
have the manuals that came with it ?
