Default Weird Error Message Never seen it b4.

Dear All,

All of a sudden now, when my pc boots up, I get this error pop up at the
very bottom of the screen.

Warning: Have Option Rom Can Not Be Invoke (Vendor ID: 10Deh, Deivce ID:
0265h)

Haven't seen this before, and I don't think it is linked to OS as this
appears before I even get OS starting up, so I think it is a hardware error.

Has anybody seen this before?

Regards
Paul
p.s. the word "Device" is intentionally spelt incorrectly as that is how it
appears on the screen.

procedure

I updated my bios, and before i changed anything in there the error didn't
appear..

I enabled SMART, disabled SATA (as I don't have SATA drives) and I disabled
Full Screen Boot Logo and then it came back, I'm guessing it is because I
enabled SMART?

I'm going to go and disable it and come back and let you know...

Regards
Paul

It happened after you updated your BIOS ?.
Why did you update ?.
Does your Mboard have a Dual BIOS ?.
(My gigabyte board does )

If it were me, I`d make a note of my BIOS settings (pen&paper).
then reset the BIOS to see if that cured it.
