Assuming your system fan either turns too slow to measure or
doesn't have an RPM feedback signal line, otherwise the
above numbers do not indicate a problem. Some people might
"like" to have the processor at a lower temp when not under
load but the temp is still acceptibly low enough that if
it's accurate it should not be a problem. IF when the
system crashes it is in windows and under load, you would
want to get a temp reading for that scenario since temp may
have risen from what the bios reports.
You haven't told us anything about this system, brands and
models of parts including PSU. Check the voltages and
inspect the interior of the system, cards/fans (incl. video
card fan if so equipped)/cables, etc.
Had the system previously ran ok in it's current config or
have things been changed prior to onset of the problem?

Run Prime95 and tell us what happens to your temperatures. It
is the behavior under 100% loading, that you are interested in.
A computer has to be able to run at 100% loading, because you
could be away from the computer, when a scheduled task starts
to run, and not be around to supervise or help out the machine.
(Select "Torture Test" when prompted.)
Testing for stability, by leaving a computer sitting idle in
the desktop, takes hundreds and hundreds of running hours,
to prove the same thing. Prime95 gives the same test coverage,
in about 10 minutes. If you cannot run Prime95 for a few hours,
without it stopping with errors, then fix your computer. I
have a stinky old computer (~1GHz), that has run it for 16 hours
without a problem.

Question what make of cpu do you have and how old is the pc?
you might find all you have to do is clean the cpu heat sink of dust.
Compared to my pc the temp on your pc is high.
example i have a amd x2 64 bit 5600 cpu it is about 20c to 23c when idle
under load it is about 40c to 40c
when i had a amd sampron the temp you have was when the cpu was under load.

How on earth do you get those temps ? I'm lucky to get below 46c at all, and
that's with a new Freezer 64 (stock heatsink was about 53 - 56).
One thing I do notice is that my full load temps never go up.. they're only
like 5c higher than idle..

Got my self a zalman cpu cooler CNPS9500 plus a 120mm case fan on the back
of the pc case and my hard drive is in a hard drive cooler which is in a
drive bay under my dvd-rom. so you could say i have good air flow.

The average room temperature is not cool enough for those
temps to be possible, so either they are wrong or the room
temp is probably lower than yours.
Having a bit lower idle temp in an ACPI capable OS is
achieved by using cool-n-quiet and/or other mainboard bios
able to put the processor into lower power state. That is
not likely to be happening with only 5C spread between idle
and full load. Research your specific board, bios, windows
settings for that.
On the other hand, beyond saving some money on the power
bill, there's no stability (nor longevity if system is set
up properly to move sufficient air through it) issue by just
having 46C temp - that is not a problem.
