Kaspersky 2009 is a pain in the rectum........it loaded on 2 comps (Dell M60
and Intel DT) no problems, but loads with errors on my day to day AMD
desktop. I removed SpyBot and Mailwasher but its still not 100%. I have to
disable numerous parts to get the comp to fire up without having to use the
last known good configuration.
I have tried all the Google recommendations but no luck. And redownloaded
the latest release twice but thats not the problem.
anyone else have probs with this version. I had V7 on this system before
with absolutely no problems.

Since this is a hardware forum you'd probably have better
luck getting a solution here:

Earlier I had the same issues where I like the version 7 than the
version 8 but get used to it that in later time by posting my feedback
to the kaspersky forum.
And so far they had been helpful in sorting my problems as soon as
they appear.
Incidentally however my PC is Intel run so have no idea how it runs
under AMD chip?
I think you just have to ask the right question to them and probably
supply to them what error report you are having with KIS 2009.

Yes KAS have been very good but unable to resolve the issues. I have
provided many reports and even pics of the quick blue screen. Last evening I
did a System Restore and then removed V7 so now my comp is back to norm but
with no IS installed. Kaspersky informed me that V8.506 2009 would be
updated last night to a new version which is basically 2010 but I have not
seen it yet. When it appears I will give it another try but my gut says its
not going to work for my system.
