Need help
Cant get computer (xp pro)to recognize the sata dvd burner (liteon).
Have the sata cable going to the pri_ata contector on the mobo (asus
p4s8x) and the dvd does power up and spin. Dont know if I have to
enable something else in the bios or need a different driver am totaly
lost. Have the bios set to auto recognise ata but still not getting
though. Any help will be appreciated Thanks

Have you loaded the motherboard SATA driver from the motherboard's
installation CD? Are you using XP Pro with SP2 installed? It's required.
