HDD trouble

Hi

Any pointers would be helpful. A USB hard drive now shows only one of
the many folders recorded on it, yet 'properties' in w98 shows the
amount of space used up correctly, and correct capacity.

Problem seems to be intermittent, as a while ago it was showing 0
bytes used, 0 bytes space, then it worked fine, now...

This is the hdd I asked about before... its built into something and
will have to take the thing apart to find out what make it is and get
mfr's utils, but any feedback would be helpful until I get the time to
do that.
