I have an old (probably 10+ years) 30GB Fujitsu hard drive (2.5") that's
*******. The manufacturer's diagnostic program tells me it failed the test
with error code A101T7. Does anyone know where I would find a list of error
codes ? Obviously the drive is toast but I'd still like to know what the
cause of the error was.

Very unlikely to be 30GB and 10+ years old. 10 years ago a
typical desktop drive capacity was around 4GB.

Get it from their website if anywhere... but look on the
media the diagnostic is on, or the installer/installed
folder if it's the type of util. that makes a floppy as
there might be some documentation. You might also email
them asking about the code.

....and typical laptop drive (2.5") was 1-2GB.
