APC Smart ups SUA1500 and auto restart not working on server withindependent NIC...

I have one server which successfully shuts down via the network
shutdown feature of the network management card software..

But this server will not turn back on once the signal is sent/ ups
turns back on.. My other 2 servers come back online fine..

I've checked the BIOS setting.. its set to "power on"..

The only thing i can think of is that i'm not using the integrated NIC
card.. i'm using a seperate one.. an Intel Pro/1000 MT Desktop
adapter.. as the internal one wasnt gigabit..

I'm thinking that for some reason, the nic card isnt getting the
signal to come back on...

Any thoughts on this one
