Default Help With GA-73VM-S2 Audio

Hi,

Just got this board from NewEgg. Windows XP installed fine, Gigabyte
drivers seemingly installed fine.

After re-boot, there was no sound. Device manager shows CODECs
installed, but a PCI device with yellow exclamation. This is obviously
the sound device.

Tried un-installing and re-installing to no avail.

Went on Gigabyte site and D/L the latest chipset and audio drivers.
Installed chipset first and re-booted, then installed audio. No joy.

Has anyone learned any tricks to get the sound working on this board,
or should I RMA it?

Found this on NewEgg. Interesting!

Thanks for listening, any help much appreciated!
