I've bought this MB and installed Corsair 4GB DDR3 DHX 1600C9DHX Twin3X
(2x2GB) (TW3X4G1600C9DHX) memory which only shows up as 1066 in the BIOS
when I alter the Memory to 1333 the computer refuses to boot up until I
reset the memory to 1066 I'm using a Intel Quad 9550 processor. I'm sure
I'm doing something wrong but what any ideas would be most helpful?

I don't know how it could help but anyway:
have you tried changing the memory speed within Easytune ?
I think easytune 6 supports P45 chipset.

Hi there,
When i up the memory speed to 1333 to match the 9550 processor it just
crashes at start up until I take the memory down to 1066 then it works fine.
I am using DDR3 1600 memory, of course there is no way of contacting
Gigabyte direct so I'll they Overclockers for a solution.

Hi Tim,
I am running some tests right now in order to see if I can get an
autoamtic setting to show my memory at the right speed while being stable.
I want to try something but memtest86 is running and I don't want to
stop it now
So I give you my suggestion:
Have you tried to leave your memory to 1333MHz *but*, at the same time,
turn the mystic setting that is "performance enhance" (above memory
speed, in the bios) to "Standard" instead of its default setting wich is
"turbo" ?
I think it might be the solution.

Hi there,
This is what I've done but not sure it is right and pointers would be much
appreciated.
I have a Gigabyte GA-EP45C-DS3R Intel P45 (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 &
DDR3 Motherboard plus Corsair 4GB DDR3 DHX 1600C9DHX Twin3X (2x2GB)
(TW3X4G1600C9DHX) memory.
In the BIOS I have set the multiplier to 8 and .5 giving me a 2,83 prosessor
but the memory is only running at 1065 in the BIOS and in ET6.
So I altered the latency in the BIOS to 9-9-9-24 and the Memory voltage to
1.80v now in ET6 Tunner it shows as memory start up a 1065 and running
memory as 1332. Also in ET6 in the memory section it shows the Max bandwith
as PC3-8500F(533 MHZ) is this right should it not be 1600?
Finally in the Tunner section of ET6 it shows the Power on CPU as 2830.00
MHZ and the target as 1998.74 MHZ but that later figure fluctuates is that
correct?
