Default GA-EP35-DS4 - Booting weird behaviour

Hi guys,

I got a new CPU a week ago and I've realized some weird behavour when booting.

Sometimes I hear one long beep following by a short beep, then a pause, and then a short beep. Other times I just hear a short beep.

I've looked in the mothermoard manual and it says that 1long beep - 1 short beep is a RAM or Mobo problem. The funny thing is that my computer always boots, and it works flawlessly, but I'm just curious why this happens! Should I worry?

Any ideas are much appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

The PoLe

PS: I know 1 short beep is normal

Just a thought. But did you try resetting your CMOS with a jumper and power
disconnected?
