can the MB GA-K8NF-9 boot on USB key

hi all
i have a gigabyte motherboard GA-K8NF-9 with last bios
and i cant boot on an USB key
can this MB boot on USB Key ?

What exactly are you trying to boot from, software wise, on the usb stick?

i have copied the content of a boot linux CD
a live CD on a usb key
i founded a web site that explain how to make it

i also tried to make a boot usb key with other software like winimage

I cannot comment on Linux but MS Win* will not run/boot from an external
source
