Default Award/Gigabyte beep code Mystery

I think that this is a new one. Continuous long beeps, presumably
dram errors, but ONLY when the computer boots up in XP safe mode.

Any ideas?


SYSTEM:
DualCore AMD Athlon 64 X2, 2000 MHz (10 x 200) 3800+
Motherboard Name Gigabyte GA-M61PM-S2 (2 PCI, 1 PCI-E x1, 1 PCI-E
x16, 4 DDR2 DIMM, Audio, Video, Gigabit LAN, IEEE-1394)

Motherboard Chipset: nVIDIA nForce 6100-430, AMD Hammer

System Memory: 2048 MB (DDR2-667 DDR2 SDRAM)

DIMM1: Kingston 1 GB DDR2-667 DDR2 SDRAM (5-5-5-15 @ 333 MHz)
(4-4-4-12 @ 266 MHz) (3-3-3-9 @ 200 MHz)

DIMM2: Kingston 1 GB DDR2-667 DDR2 SDRAM (5-5-5-15 @ 333 MHz)
(4-4-4-12 @ 266 MHz) (3-3-3-9 @ 200 MHz)

Video Adapter: ATI Radeon HD 3600 Series (512 MB)

Ask the Gigabyte tech support ?
