Default ram compatibility?

I have 2 sticks of Kingston KVR400X64C3A/1G, 1GB PC3200 CL3 184 - pin DIMM
memory installed in my PC that is running Windows XP. I would like to
install another 1GB. Is Kingston model KGT KVR4001GR, 1GB PC3200 CL3
184-Pin DDR SDRAM memory compatible with Kingston model KVR400X64C3A/1G
memory? The specifications for the memory looks similar but, I'm wondering
if I'm overlooking something critical and that I'd ruin something by
installing the incorrect memory.
Thanks in Advance,
Ron

The specs look the same to me. They may differ in chip count, e.g. 8-chip vs
16-chip. Kingston often labels it memory to conform to conventions used by
name brand computers, but when you look closely, it is the same stuff. The
industry has very much standardized on the same commodity memory across all name
brands, with the name brand companies charging extra for their own sticker on a
memory module and some sort of extra special guarantee that the memory will work
on their model... Ben Myers
