Anyone know anything about Hitachi Plasmas?

My 3 year old Sony HD 60 LCD rear projection is dying. The light
projector is going out. $1250 to fix. I am looking at the Hitachi
60" Plasma as a replacement. Wall mounted. Any feedback?
