VOB files won't play on dvd player

Normally I use Nero 8 Express to burn backups of VOB files from DVD
Shrink
and that works fine and they play on my dvd Panasonic RV32. Recently
downloaded some VOB files that play fine on Windows Media Player.
However
when I burn them to a dvd they won't play on my Panasonic (I get the
error
msg. that it won't play that disc). I encoded it in dvd shrink and
tried
burning those files but no luck; still won't play. It plays on my
computer,
how can I get it to play on my Panasonic? Any help is appreciated.

Maybe the IFO and BUP files are corrupted and the DVD player doesn't know
what to do with the VOB's?
