Default terminal Panny?

I went to copy something off the hard drive and after a second or so
it came up saying disc error, then U88 or something. Took about three
restarts before it would stay on, the dvd disc was ruined but now it
won't read or write to any disc, just the hard drive. Thing is under
guarantee, only seven months old or so, but of course it's bloody bank
holidays so it's going to be a pain to deal with.

Peed right off :O(
