I bought a new set of RCA cables for my DVD player(needed longer
ones)...There is a red, yellow, white and a black connector on each
end...What's the black one for? I have nowhere to plug the black one in,
can it just hang there?
Connected the 3 colors needed and all works fine..

Might be a S-Video connector. If the TV doesn't have a S-Video
connection it can just hang there.

That's kind of weird. Usually black is S-Video and yellow is plain
video. It seems strange to have both in the same cable set.
