Problems with Verbatim DVD+RW and Lite-on 1653S

My Lite-on 1653S has CS0T firmware. It burns and reads Philips DVD+RW x4
okay but has big problems with Verbatim DVD+RW x4 which is MKM A02 media
code. Also says BG Format Status Suspended whatever that means.

When I use Infodvd crc check I get a message "command 028h returned"
