Default Printable DVDs - SIlver or White?

I need to order printable DVDs as my supply is low, for personal use.
I've only used white printables, but wonder whether most folks prefer
white or silver printables. Going to buy Taiyo Yuden's DVDs.

Because if you have a CD/DVD printer, you can print beautiful full
cover labels, like printing on paper. You can't do that with the
silver ones.

I have an Epson Photo R220 bought strictly for printing on DVDs. You
mean the silver printable ones are only useable for black and white
printing?

You can print color on them, but it won't look pretty.
