Default Help with recovering a movie off a DVD-R

I Recorded a movie off TCM this afternoon
When it finished it stated "Writing file information"
When the message disappeared I assumed it was finished just as my other
recording had stated.
When I went to finalize the DVD - it gave me an error and said it could not finalize
It.
Does anyone know of a utility that will recover the data?
Your help will be greatly appreciated
Thanks

I would think there's a great possibility that the data itself is
corrupt. As the movie channel is TCM won't the movie be back on soon?

You might do it (recover) using MagicISO or PowerISO

You might look at ISO-Buster

You're thinking of TMC.

TCM (Turner Classic Movies) repeats movies very infrequently.

Heh, nope, just checked and it is TCM. Maybe it's just a sense of deja
vu I get when reading listings :O)

Actually many get repeated far too often from my POV.

I've seen the same film showing up three times in less than two
months.

Go to the tcm.com site and search for the film and see if it is
scheduled to run anytime in the next 3 months.
