I tried watching Bride Wars last weekend, only to have my Sharp Aquos lock
up completely. After a couple of tries, I return the disc to Block Buster
who informed me the problem was probably with my player, but cheerfully
swapped discs with me. The second copy failed as well, but after downloading
and installing an update from the Sharp website, my player not only played
the movie, but now seems to load movies much quicker as well.
It might not be your problem, checking the Sony or BlueRay websites might be
a good idea.
I returned the first disc too and got a second one from Amazon.
Still same problem.
I'll update the software.
Thanks very much for the advice.
