Default DVR to VHS

If I record on TWC's DVR...while viewing the recorded show at a later
date..How can I tape it to a VCR tape?( I know!...hoping Santa Baby will
bring a HD-DVD recorder) Can I just record it while viewing? Or do I
need to do something special?
TIA..Card

Yes, you would record while playing from the DVR whether you choose to
watch it at that time or not.

Connect your DVR output to your VCR input, play and record.

You can use the RF cable (the coaxial with screw-on collars) or you can
use the audio (red & white) + video (yellow or 4-pin black) connectors.
The audio + video (also called AV or A/V) has better signal quality.
You have to select the right input on the VCR.
