DVD Won't Play on Computer

I usually use InterVideo WinDVD on my computer to play movies. So far
every movie I've tried has worked, but one movie won't play. I get the
error message "invalid file 1". This particular disc won't play on
Windows Media Player either. Is it the disc or the player?
