I am in the process of starting up a small video production company
that will mainly do weddings and other small events and i am wondering
what the best way to label dvds is... the most durable and the safest
to the disc for both archive-ability and compatibility with players..
I have tried lightscribe, stick on labels, and now looking at ink-jet
printable.
Since having some past bad experiences with Epson, i picked up an HP
c5280 that can print dvds. It seems to print them decently, however I
am wondering if there is better out there in the same price range. My
main concerns on epson are the cartridge price and the cartridge
issues such as clogging and resetting. I know a lot of people have the
epson models since they were the first to have the option, but are
they better than the HPs at the moment, if so any particular model to
look at?
Also, i have done some reviews and have purchased a pack of TY
Watershield DVD-R discs. I have read that they are very reliable and
compatible. I have already had issues of a player not being able to
play one brand dvd. I know every player is different, but is TY a
safer brand to go with other than just off the shelf brands?
