I'm wondering how to determine how many AVI files I can convert to DVD
format and put on a DVD-5 disc without sacrificing quality. The
average size of an AVI file I download is approximately 740MB. Some
movies have two AVI files and I usually burn one movie to a DVD-5 disc
regardless if it comes in one or two files. I cannot tell any quality
difference. How high can I go? What are the determining factors?
Perhaps there is not a (simple) answer to my question.
TIA for any effort.

Think about total playing time and then what you would sacrifice to make a 2
hour 3 hour or more hour on one DVD.
