Default Capturing a segment of a movie

I'm trying to capture a scene from a movie dvd in its standard format. That
is to say it's not a mpeg or dvr-ms. Is there a way to extract and record
only a portion of the movie so that I can record it on dvd-r?

thanks

Default Re: Capturing a segment of a movie

I use DVD Shrink for this though it was months ago - just right click when
the title is over to the left side of the pane and it will have the option
to set start and end frames
