Vista/Nero Vision/Vso????

Hi,
I have been downloading tv series for quite a while using the above, and all
went fine, I was using xp pro.
Recently I upgraded to vista home premium and using the latest edition of
nero and vso. I find many altho
not all ,downloads are out of sync, that is just double clicking on the file
after completion of download.

Therefore if I am non technical as I am, what do I do, is there any EASY
software to get it back in sync, before
I start encoding to turn it into a DVD, most of the files are xvid or avi.

Any help appreciated.

I had that problem with XP Pro and Nero Ultra 7. I ended up doing a
fresh install to solve the problem. Other players had the same sync
problem with the file, but they were ok after I got a new version of
divx codec. Nero had to be re-installed to get the sync back.
