If you insert a DVD disc in the DVDRW slot when the disk is read the
autoplay box will pop up showing what you want to do. Whether
Do you want to play the DVD with various players such as interwinDVD,
Nero Express, PowerDVD, Windows Media Player, Copy DVD , ,copy the
disk and open and view files or do nothing.
Recently I noticed that this particular BOX is corrupted as there are
entries that are orphaned say such as after uninstalling a software
such as DVD FAB , NERO and the like will leave a vacuum in the
functionality THAT makes such autoplay display ugly to look due to
the vacant slots
Is there a way to how to repair this corrupted autoplay box so that
the slots where the programs have been removed can be also deleted so
that the autoplay box will look neat again.
Thanks in Advance folks!
Regards
Roy

It has a bunch of great tweaks in it, but one thing it allows you to do is
set your autoplays how you want them.
It allows global assigining of autoplay, or you can even go file by file
assigning a different autoplay to different files.

Oh .. forgot to mention, you also have control over autoplay without the
TweakUI program by opening my computer, rt click on your DVD/CD drive,
choose properties, click the autoplay tab.
If this doesn't give you the options you need, THEN the TweakUI program may
be needed.
Although that is a handy little program to have anyway.

Thanks for your reply I did tried to control the autoplay without the
TweakUI as suggested but I when I right click one of the defunct
entries of my autoplay box there was prompt, what this? then no
more. I still can't format the autoplay box to clean up the orphaned
entries.
I also tried todownload the Tweak UI but when I opened it up the
program was easily installed; but it stated that windows is finding
the program if not browse and find it ( although its already in the
program files.) Therefore in the absence of the missing shortcut for
such program I can't find a handle to run it.
I am perplexed how this Tweak UI do his stuff as I had never used it
before, would somebody guide me the way how to sort this out.
Thanks!
