Free software for creating dvd iso files fom avi movie files?
Hi all,
Looking for freeware that will convert an avi file to iso file ready to
be burned to dvd. Any suggestions?
Currently using DVDforger, having few problems with sound going out of
sync with video, tried reinstalling etc, updated codecs but no joy.
Also tried FAVC, was fine after soring .NET errors, now something broke
with that again.
So anything fast, reliable with good quality is what i'm after.
Thanks for reading

Authoring programs that use Avisynth (like AVStoDVD) are prone to
audio sync problems with AVI files that use MP3 audio. You might have
better luck with non-Avisynth tools like DeVeDe for Windows, DVD Flick
(recommended) and Free Videos To DVD.
Free Videos To DVD
Input: AVI, MP4, MPEG1, MPEG2, VOB, WMV/ASF
Output: DVD, ISO, VOB
OS: Win 2000/XP/2003/Vista www.koyotesoft.com/indexEn.html

Re: Free software for creating dvd iso files fom avi movie files?
Hi all, thanks for the info.
Have given DVD Flick a try and works well, apart from one scene in a
movie where the output was jumpy, like skipping frames, for about 60
secs, sound was still in sync, just. The original avi it was created
from plays the scene smoothly?
