Recorder stopped Recording

I have a Panasonic DVD Recoreder and have been using DVD-R discs for
some time and have had no problems. I have recently bought some new
discs -R discs. It records for about a minute and then stops on its
own, telling me to insert another disc. Any ideas why this has
started happening?

The first thing to try is a different brand of discs.

as soon as i saw the header.................i knew the brand!!!!!!!
