Nero 8??

My Nero 6 suite no longer wants to encode/decode MPEG-4
so I thought I'd grab an on-sale copy of the newest
Nero 8 Ultra. Have any of you had experiences with
this latest release??

I'm especially curious as to whether it will
contain NVE and Wave Editor.

I don't use Nero for decoding, but I don't think Nero ever decode anything
but standard MPEG-1/2. Everything else may require plug-in.

I use Nero to burn DATA and sometime Video mode (already authored), and
they have to pay me for using Nero to decode my video.

Great, thanks for answering my questions. And I'll run right out
and get whatever it was you suggested instead. Ooops, I must have
missed that part....

Meanwhile, can anyone out there tell me whether Nero 8 includes what
used to be Nero Vision Express and Nero Wave Editor???

Available at Frys's asof 9/22/2007 & possibly earlier.

Tempted as it is able to create/author? one's own dvd from the camera;
ability to play BD-dvd BUT HD-dvd requires an "optional" add-on product.

Doesn't say if it could convert VCDs to DVD tho.
