dvdshrink 2008 = legitimate?

I went to the dvdshrink.org just for "look see" for anything new.

Found dvdshrink 2008 & a ref to dvdshrink 2007 which are different
desigantions for the dvdshrink 3.2. Also must send email addr
& name & don't know what else as didn't go that far; it appears
that the info is jus for getting email instructions for getting
the actual new real dvdshrink 2008..........

I havn't come across any references to the new dvdshrink & so
is asking about it here; did look at the "official" forum but havn't
seen any references to the newer product, possibly didn't page
far enough to obtain any info........

Did read that dvdshrink was "dead product" for a very long time.....

Don't know what you mean about "dead product". Have you ever used
DVDShrink? If not do so. That & DVDdecrypter are freebees and well
worth the "trouble" of d'loading them.

It's a scam. They are just attaching a new name to the last prior
release, which was free, and trying to sell it.

DVD-Shrink and DVD-Dycryper are 2 different beats.

- DVD-Shrink can *shrink* larger than DVD-5 to fit onto DVD-5 size. It can
rip, and re-author etc..

- DVD-Decrypter if I am not mistaken is DVD ripper.

The differences

- DVD-Shrink will shrink to fit DVD-5 (similar to DVD Copier) which will
keep the original Menu when ripping and authoring will destroy the original
Menu.
