Depending on whether your dvd player will play .avi files, just record
it (them) as data.
My Phillips plays them in sequence.
If you want it to be in dvd format, I use ConvertXTo DVD and also
convert a PAL source .avi to NTSC. It is updated often.

It has been several years since we posted in 15000 lines that fit on a
floppy and d/led with a 28k baud modem.
And, people posted in the correct group so you didn`t have to read every
group.
