Default TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress, Moving it to another PC??

Am exploring TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress trial right now and
intend to buy it.

But one message I read seemed to indicate that it
may be
"tied" to the original computer it is installed on.

I know that some software you buy does work that
way...
"want to move it to the new pc- have to buy
another copy"

Want to make sure TMPGEnc 4.0 XPress does not work
like that.
Also Box copies don't seem to exist?... download only?

thanks,
jmc

I seem to remember having it on several systems at
different times, I know for sure that I've reinstalled it
after system upgrades. They keep a listing of the
products that you have. The list has a download
link to the current version and shows the serial/code
for that item. My listing includes older products
that I've use as the basis for upgrades, they appear
to be still available for my use.

I have two licenses for 4.0 XPress but I got the
second one because I occasionally ran both, at the
same time, on networked computers. It seemed the
right thing to do, and I could afford it at the time.

You should be able to move it from one system to
another with no problem. It does have a phone home
feature that looks to be verifying that the program is
running with a valid serial/code registered to you.

Luck;
Ken
