An artist neighbour has been asked to submit some work to a gallery for
approval - she has a film and a folder of pictures - she would like the
film to play automatically on insertion of the disk and for the folder of
pictures to be available through a menu of some sort - it would be great if
the pictures could play in a 'slideshow' somehow. Preferably, the DVD
should be palyable in a stand alone machine as well as a PC I suppose, hust
in case.
Her movie is currently in a high quality *.mov format (Quicktime - 950mb -
6.5 minutes), but I am happy to transcode it if required.

Sword, thanks for the reply. In your 3 steps, you don't mention Jpg's - I
need to burn pictures as well as the autoplaying film - is there a way to
do that ?

GoogleGroups spammers seldom reply, this guy might,
but I wouldn't look on that as a good thing.

MemoriesOnTV is indeed an excellent program and I used it as my 'favorite'
for several years.
There are a number of other software solutions which offer extremely
versatile photo slide show and movie DVDs (as well as other playable formats
in high definition and PC formats) which should also be considered.
