Extract scenes from DVD software

Hello,

Is there a (freeware) software package which has the possibility to
extract scenes (I want to select what scenes) from a DVD and then
extract them as an AVI or MPEG file? I need to extrac small scenes from
a large DVD with home video's, so I can put some scenes on the internet..

go to QVC on the Television and order vhs to dvd 3.0 this will do what you
need
