What is the Resolution of the EVF on the Oly SP-570UZ?
I have been able to find the resolution for the 2.7" LCD for the
Olympus SP-570UZ, but cannot seem to find the resolution for the
EVF (Electronic View Finder) on that model.
Could someone please confirm what that EVF resolution is on the
570UZ?
Also, is the EVF in that model smooth and crisp enough for clear
focusing using only the EVF, or is it sort of blurred and blocky
like the one on the Canon S5 IS?

Even Olympus themselves will not tell you what the EVF resolution is!
Once can only assume that they reserve the right to use whatever EVF they
have to hand at the time.....
I have only ever seen one EVF which you /might/ consider focussing
directly with (Minolta A2 at VGA resolution), but many can zoom into the
live image and make it easy to focus. Even the quarter VGA resolution on
the Panasonic FZ20 from several years ago allows this, and it works
smoothly in practice, with the zooming being done automatically as soon as
you move the manual focus ring.
